How do i arrange this?

Simple follow these simple steps for us to carry out a repair on your faulty Microsoft console.

2. We will send you an invoice to which you can make payment via our secure online payment provider.
3. Package the xbox securely, we recommend bubble wrap and a good cardboard box, we cannot accept responsibility for items in transit to us. All items being returned are insured by us. Remember to contain a copy of your payment receipt and return details in the parcel.
4. Upon receipt we will contact you to confirm the safe delivery of your item and advise on commencing work.
5. If the console cannot be repaired we will contact you advising you of this and arrange for the item to be returned, or if the repair is more complicated than explained we will always discuss with your before commencing any work outside the normal service.
6. When the work is completed we will tell you and send this item back to you, All consoles are returned with a 3 month warranty.

Q. What do i do if my console breaks again in the 3 month period?
A. Simply return the console to us and we will check the work free of charge, if the work has been tampered with we will contact you and advise a further repair will incur additional charge if the console has been tampered with after repair.

Q. What do you do to my xbox?
A. We fully dismantle your console, clean it fully and re flow the board. This means we clean the board, reseal the solder joints and change the xclamps that cause most the issues. This coupled with quality replacement components and thermal paste ensure heat is correctly dissipated through the heat sinks ensuring correct operation.

Q. I've seen fixes on eBay why not just do that?
A. We have many years experience working with consoles and hardware, we have an impressive recovery rate of xboxs and have the experience to conduct a correct repair that lasts. You may buy a cheap kit on ebay that may do the job but it wont last and you could damage you xbox beyond repair, we have been asked to fix many a bad repair in our time.

An update patch released on November 1, 2006 was reported to "brick" consoles, rendering them useless. The most obvious issue occurs after the installation of the patch, after which the console immediately reboots and shows an error message. Usually, error code E71 is shown during or directly after the booting animation.

In response to the November 2006 update error that "bricked" his console, a California man filed a class action lawsuit against Microsoft in Washington federal court in early December 2006. The lawsuit seeks $5 million in damages and the free repair of any console rendered unusable by the update. This is the second such lawsuit filed against Microsoft, the first having been filed in December 2005, shortly after the 360's launch.

Following Microsoft's extension of the Xbox 360 warranty to a full year, from the previous 90 days, the California man's attorney confirmed to the Seattle Post Intelligence that the lawsuit had been resolved under confidential terms.

An E74 error is indicated when the lower-right quadrant of the ring indicator flashes red and displays an error message in multiple languages: "System Error. Contact Xbox Customer Support", with the code E74 at the bottom . The error is caused when there's a video problem, because the Xbox 360's hardware scaler chip is damaged. As of April 14, 2009, the E74 error is now covered by the three-year extended warranty, and customers who previously paid Microsoft for out-of-warranty service to correct the E74 error will receive a refund.

It is worth noting that the E74 error is displayed in the Screens of Death article as a "Green Screen of Death" and a "Black Screen of Death" because early versions of these errors had an almost jet-black background with a hue of dark green. Later versions would show a completely jet-black background. Reports of impending Q4 red-light failure stem from users who report an abnormal display with poor, grainy video as well as black dots/artifacts appearing on the screen. Vertical green strokes on the screen can also indicate an E74.
